Unicode
I've made some posts using unicode font. But I have problems in unicode font rendering. Paul suggested that I change my font to AnjaliOldLipi. But the problem is that in the template, I am not able to really find out where to change it. Actually, the rendering is not very bad. Only few problems, like:
ÎI is shown as Îÿí
ÎHí is shown as ÎÃíY
ÉGá is shown as É¿¿íá
æºÏíÄá is shown as æºcíÄá.
Not many more like this. But it would be nice if I can get rid of these errors too....

i believe paul was suggesting that you use anjalioldlipi for your local settings, to view unicode malayalam in your dubba.
you don't have to set the font for your readers. they will choose whatever works best for them. that's one of the good things about using unicode.
ps: i couldn't read the complaints you had about unicode rendering in your system. but it's good to know that a linux dubba shows it almost correctly. my ibook (mac os X) has serious problems with malayalam unicode. i believe someone will have to create a unicode font that works well in mac os X.

I was expecting a different problem, when you said rendering problems!!!
I guess you are using linux and firefox to read the unicode pages. The unicode support is not perfect in firefox. One of the option is to download a pango enabled firefox build . You can get one here: http://bunny.medhas.org/
It wont be perfet, but will be better than the current rendering.

to make myself clear (i.e., to let others know what exactly my problem is) i used the font "Kerala", rather than posting using unicode. i assumed that those who will be reading these pages, will have kerala font installed in their systems.

i'm using pango enabled firefox. after seeing some postings by peringodan, I feel that my problems are there in general. since i know the problems, i can read all these postings without much trouble.
